Brown & Winters is an environmental law firm founded in 2008. The firm represents California public entities throughout California. Clean Water Act, contaminated groundwater, contaminated sediments, landfills and storm water problems are significant challenges being addressed by the firm.

The firm also offers expertise in patent, intellectual property, real estate and insurance coverage. The firm's practice is divided between litigation and transactional services. Pro bono activities are strongly encouraged and the firm always provides insurance archaeology services to public entities on a pro bono basis.
