Jeff Orrell specializes in environmental and general litigation, with a focus on hazardous waste cleanup actions, cost recovery on behalf of public entities, and redevelopment law and litigation. Mr. Orrell also specializes in general insurance law and litigation, assists clients in procuring insurance monies in response to legal and/or administrative claims. Mr. Orrell’s insurance work includes assisting public entities in locating and taking advantage of historical liability policies. In 2003, Mr. Orrell served as a clerk in the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Summer Honors Program in Washington, D.C., as well as serving as National Co-Chair in the National Association of Environmental Law Societies in 2003-2004.
Mr. Orrell graduated cum laude from the California Western School of Law in 2004, and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science.
Mr. Orrell is admitted to practice before the State Bar of California and is a member of the California Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association, Environmental Section.
