Matthew McDonald focuses his practice on hazardous waste cleanup matters and cost recovery on behalf of public entities and private parties. Mr. McDonald also specializes in general insurance law and assisting clients in utilizing historic insurance proceeds for coverage in response to legal or administrative claims arising from current or historic hazardous waste releases .

Mr. McDonald received his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law in 2010.  While in law school, Mr. McDonald served in the Environmental Law Society and went through the Environmental Certificate Program to specialize in environmental matters. Mr. McDonald received his undergraduate degree from the Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.

Mr. McDonald is admitted to practice in California and is a member of the California Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association, Environmental Section.
